Anime Ultra in a Nutshell (sorta)

“Welcome to Anime-Ultra! The Golden Blog of anime (cuz Au like the element symbol of gold ... haha yeah I should mention we are also chemistry majors). Since this is our first post I am going to explain some of the topics we hope to post about on our blog, how we want to run things and just generally, our current plan for the whole shebang.
What is it?
Anime-Ultra is pretty much a dumping ground of thoughts and feelings for Ash and I that revolve around anime (if that wasn’t already obvious). That being said I am stating right here and now, we are not professional critics and what we put here is simply our opinions and feelings on whatever topic we are discussing. That does not mean we are always right and that if you feel differently you are wrong or that we are wrong. Everyone has different opinions and each opinion should be respected so long as it does not harm others. That doesn’t mean you aren’t allowed to disagree with us, I am all for hearing other views and opinions, just don’t be a jerk about it.

Series and Episode Reviews: pretty self explanatory, just our thoughts on a show as a whole or certain episodes we really liked.
→ Monthly Throwback Thursday: Once a month we will review an anime that is not relatively new so anything that finished airing 5+ years ago
Character Analysis and Season Predictions: Again, pretty self explanatory. Ash and I will look into and analyze characters of our choosing that we find interesting. Disclaimer: as for the predictions neither ash nor I read manga ahead of the anime so we won’t be spoiling anything and if we happen to be correct about something it’s just us being awesome psychics.
→ Hall of Fame: Characters that we really love, really hate, are absolutely ridiculous, are really awful, etc. We haven’t decided the exact details yet but that is the general idea. Just characters that stand out for some reason whether that be good or bad.
Weeb Talks: Any random thoughts or reactions we have to something.
Waifu of my Eye: This is all Ash, whatever they want the details of this page to be is up to them.
Fanart: Art either drawn by Ash or I, or art that anyone wants us to put on the page. For the start it will just be art from Ash and I but I would love to have submissions from anyone who uses the site. Any art that is submitted will be included in our featured fanart section. Note: any submitted art will obviously have to be approved by Ash and I so keep that in mind if you want us to post it.
Quotes and Quips: Similar to weeb talks but not necessarily our reactions, along with posts containing quotes either from anime or from us.
Weekly Jam: Each week Ash and I will pick a song we like from an anime and put it on our site. There will be a page for the Weekly Jam where we will have the current song and a few previous ones for anyone who wants to go back and listen to old ones we posted. There will also be a music player on the top banner that can be used to listen to the weekly song that will continue to play on all pages. Only one song can be played from there though, so it will just be the one song on repeat.
Site Chat: I thought it would be awesome to make the site as interactive as possible and liked the idea of having a chat. This place is created for you all to talk to each other or us, to share ideas, discuss anime yourselves and whatever else you all want to talk about. That being said, Ash and I will have absolutely no patience for anyone who is disrespectful to others or to us so as long as we all treat each other like human beings we won’t have a problem. If there is a problem I will personally make it so you need a password to get to the chat page and will decide who is and is not allowed to use it. For now it is public access and I would very much like to keep it that way if I can.
Coming Soon: For now nothing will be posted there, but we plan to do more with the site such as reaction videos, but that's a later challenge for us to take on.
E-Mail/ Contact Us: On the About Us page there is a bar where you can put your e-mail to subscribe to our site so that you get updates whenever we make a post. Honestly if anyone subscribes you will become my new favorite person and absolutely make my day. Also, I added a contact us section for anyone who needs to talk to us for some reason. (I personally would love any suggestions towards making the site better but if you just want to say hello that would also be super awesome!)
** Posts not related to anime will say so and may be present but the majority will be anime.
Closing
That pretty much covers everything, if you are still reading this after that long list of stuff then I greatly appreciate you as a person and I am also pretty impressed. As of now we don’t have much of a schedule for things besides Monthly Throwback Thursday and weekly jams, hence the names. We may never actually have a schedule but I personally would like to post something once in a while. Whether that be an actual review or analysis, or me just making a post to show something I find interesting or funny depends on how well I can manage my time with college and life and sleep and this, it will be a surprise for us all. I have rambled on enough though so I will end this here and I hope you enjoy our blog!
